Dr. David B. Eddleman completed his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta where he majored in music performance and biology. He continued his education at Emory for medical school where he earned acceptance to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He also completed his surgical residency at Emory where he was awarded the J.D. Martin Surgical Resident Award. He has practiced at Rex since 2005.
Dr. Eddleman is a Diplomate with the American Board of Surgery and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and both the North Carolina and Wake County Medical Societies. He is chairman of the Rex department of surgery, medical director of breast surgery, chairman of the breast care committee, and is a member of multiple other committees throughout the hospital.
Dr. Eddleman specializes in breast cancer treatment, benign breast disease and general surgery.
