Dr. David C. Powell, a Raleigh native, earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Kentucky where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Powell is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He is one of 10 physicians in North Carolina to hold RPVI certification and is currently providing VNUS closure for the treatment of varicose veins. In addition, he has published several surgical journal articles.
Dr. Powell specializes in peripheral vascular surgery, venous disease, gastrointestinal and hernia surgery.
