Dr. Joel B. Dragelin earned his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his surgical training at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
Dr. Dragelin is a Diplomate with the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons. He is the medical director of the Rex Heartburn Center, the first multi-disciplinary center in Wake County that leads patients through the treatment of heartburn.
Dr. Dragelin specializes in digestive disease/reflux, anorectal and general surgery.
